Neighboring State Rate
Starting fall 2025, new undergraduate students from Iowa’s neighboring states — Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska & South Dakota — will pay in-state tuition at UNI (pending Board of Regents approval on July 30). It’s your chance to explore somewhere new, embrace a fresh start and get a top-tier education — without the out-of-state cost.
